How to Have a POSTERGASM
The Mission: Guerrilla surrealism. Put up posters, fliers, and stickers in public places. Leave pamphlets and other literature in places where people will find them or see them. If you create material, make it available to the rest of the community.
The Objective: Modify your environment. Reclaim public spaces. Surprise people out of their daily rut. Encourage creative thought.

Materials
Here are some wonderful things to print out and distribute.
This is not intended as a comprehensive list of propaganda. You can modify the res publica in any way you want - the above materials are just suggestions if you don't have anything better. And if you have something better, by all means, tag it "postergasm" on scribd.com.
Collections and Longer Pieces
http://www.scribd.com/tag/postergasm - numerous posters from this site are hosted at scribd - the Postergasm collections (below) are broken into individual one-page PDFs for ease of access. See also: Scribd Group
Postergasm Collection: Volume Aleph - some of the best meme bombs, in PDF format, enhanced by various wingbats and dingdings to make them more eye-catching.
Postergasm Collection: Volume Dingus - a series of posters which look like Room For Rent and Lost Dog posters. ie, the kind of stuff you typically see on trees and telephone poles.
Postergasm Collection: Calvinball - a series of posters designed to create the illusion/reality that the reader is in the midst of a game, and to augment the rules that pedestrians are already following. Contains several spoof Homeland Security posters.
Postergasm Collection: Volume Butts - many (40+) different meme bombs and posters. Varying themes.
Matthew's Posters ver.2.0 - A collection of posters of various content to add to your repertoire of POSTERGASM Mind Fucks, almost 30 posters to play with.
Black Iron Prison Booklet - The Black Iron Prison booklet (see also this link)
Pages from the book of life By The Web Fairy
Single Sheets
Pirate Pass Off - a game played by passing around these business cards. Alternate Version
Missing "Cat" poster ripped off from somewhere on the interblag.
23 Things to Amuse Yourself While You Wait - This is a silly one-page pamphlet designed to be left on trains, bus stops, truck stops, waiting rooms, or anywhere where people are sitting around and waiting. Actually, it could go anywhere. Contains Discordian thought about Robots and Cabbages.
Do Not Read This Sign image. Appears as a notice from the department of homeland security. by Golden Applesauce.
Closed Circuit Monitoring in Progress image. 8x11, 300dpi. Burnstoupee (the creator) would like to note that the joke is that the camera is actually a film projector.
Free Homes! - found on Livejournal
The US Constitution - If you put this on a telephone pole, what kind of unpatriotic bastard would tear this down? On that note:
Bill of Rights - Only a terrorist would rip down the Bill of Rights - the very document which gives you the right to staple it to telephone polls.

Two Quick Mindfucks - funny; based on stuff found elsewhere on the net
Stickers & One Line Meme Bombs
Netatungrot's Meme Bomb Layout for full page stickers - The idea here is to print this out on a letter size (8.5 x 11) sticker and then cut them out with an exacto knife and metal ruler. Or, you can use regular paper, maybe colored to catch the eye, cut 'em out and tape them up for people on a budget. Using a laser printer for these is highly recommended.
5160 Discordian Stickers - labels jacked from poee.co.uk and resized to be printed at 5160 size stickers.
Moar Labels - Moar meme bombs, one-liners, and bizarre graphics on a 5160-sized sticker page.

Advice
This activity is oldskool fun. Since the 1960s, Discordians and their ilk have been putting up asinine posters and fliers and nonsense. One of the reasons it's been going on for so long is that it's a genuinely exciting activity. This project involves going outside with a stapler and a backpack full of materials and modding a neighborhood or city block.
Putting up posters in public places isn't usually illegal, so you don't have to get all paranoid about the Illuminatti coming after you. If you put them up in illegal places (like on private property or something), keep a low profile about it.
This is a great thing to do with friends and cabalmates, or solo. Later, you'll see these things you put up and grin like a ninny.
Tips For Distriubtion
- Hang materials at eye level where it'll be noticed. Angle them towards the pedestrian flow of traffic.
- Signs posted in any area which has its own janitorial staff will be short lived. For example, malls are patrolled regularly by custodians, so posts may disappear within a few hours. But the trees and columns outside of the mall are watched with far less scrutiny.
- If a bathroom stall opens towards the toilet, cleaning staff can't see the back side of the door when they clean.
- Stickers and signs placed slightly ABOVE eye level are often not noticed by cleaning staff focused on sweeping or mopping the floor.
- Bus stops and cross walks are excellent places for propaganda, as your audience is somewhat captive while they wait there. Boredom will sometimes prompt a person to read anything, no matter how inane.

Get the Fnord Out
Don't forget to upload pictures of your masterwork to Flickr and tag them with "POSTERGASM". In addition to showing off your coolness and gaining valuable Discordian Cred, you'll also be encouraging others to follow in suit.
If you have posters and stuff which you want workshopped or discussed, check out the POSTERGASM thread on PrincipiaDiscordia.com.
